Student work from my Introduction to Lighting course at Parsons School of Design, F1992/Sp1993. The project was to make a proposal for lighting a stair; which is a lighting design challenge I consider to be one of the most difficult.

Given a strict set of basic standards, the students arrived at a wide variety of interesting proposals.
